By downloading, installing, or using the mobile application UK Fuel Prices & Petrol Map (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms"). This App is developed and operated by El Mate Company ("we", "our", or "us"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Service Description & Data Disclaimer
- UK Fuel Prices provides drivers with retail petrol, diesel, and alternative fuel price comparisons, EV charging points, station amenities, and route fuel calculations across the United Kingdom.
- Fuel prices and station data are compiled from official published feeds, public transparency initiatives, and open data sources.
- Price Accuracy Notice: While we strive to display timely and accurate information, fuel prices are set by individual retailers and may fluctuate throughout the day. El Mate Company does not guarantee 100% real-time accuracy at the pump and shall not be held liable for differences between in-app prices and prices charged at the physical station.
2. Safe Driving & Road Safety
Important Safety Notice:
NEVER operate or interact with the App while actively driving a motor vehicle. Always adhere strictly to UK road traffic laws, including Regulation 110 of the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986 regarding mobile devices. Plan your route and stops prior to driving, or have a passenger operate the device.
3. Free Version & In-App Advertising
The standard version of UK Fuel Prices is provided free of charge. To support backend infrastructure, API requests, and continuous maintenance, discrete advertisements are served via Google AdMob.
4. UK Fuel Prices PRO - One-Time Purchase (Lifetime)
In-App Purchase Details:
- PRO Features: Removing all third-party advertisements, unlocking unlimited smart route calculations, and providing premium pitstop recommendations.
- One-Time Payment (Lifetime Access): UK Fuel Prices PRO is offered as a non-recurring, single one-time payment. It is NOT an auto-renewing subscription. There are no recurring monthly or annual charges.
- Payment & Processing: Payments are processed securely and charged to your Apple ID (App Store) or Google Play account upon purchase confirmation.
- Restore Purchases: You may restore your lifetime PRO purchase at any time on compatible devices signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account by using the "Restore Purchases" button in the App.
- Refunds: All refund requests are governed directly by Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies.
5. Intellectual Property
All software code, graphical design, original assets, and branding for UK Fuel Prices are the intellectual property of El Mate Company. Third-party brand logos (e.g., BP, Shell, Esso, Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Morrisons) belong to their respective trademark holders and are utilized strictly for informational identification purposes.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by English law, El Mate Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App, navigation routing, or reliance upon fuel prices.
